I liked reading about your views on the print/ebook debate. I don’t see it as an either/or question; more an ‘and/and’. Beautiful books will get more beautiful, I reckon. Handmade books will flourish. The choice of available reading for readers will expand hugely. I’ve always loved browsing with an open mind in libraries. I can now browse on websites as well. We’re not limited to what the big boys make available with their particular eReaders. There are new websites springing up all the time offering ebooks written by good writers who have failed to get published in the last decade or so because print publishers have been ruled by their sales departments. I’m not the only person to have seen the opportunity. More readers, more writers, more books!

Saw the mention of Ainslie Meares on your blog.
Earlier this year I edited\authored\published a book about the man and his method – Ainslie Meares on Meditation – it has an occupational biography that covers his work from the start of his career all the way through and includes a lot of new information about him. Also has inside a distilled version of Relief Without Drugs by him, an outline of his later refined method (Stillness Meditation), 30 samples of his poetry plus more. The book is widely available and seem to be of interest to people. Amazon has a copy with viewable pages. There are also a few teachers of his method around the Melbourne area,. Just mentioning if of interest.
